Tamahome is on of the Suzaku seven, and is one of the strongest as well. He is in love with Miaka and has promised to protect her with his life. He has a rather sad background. His mother died when she was giving birth to his younger sister Yuurin, and he was left to raise her. He is the first warrior to appear and one of the last faces we see at the end of the 52 episodes. But the story doesn't end there...
