Hotohori is the Emperor of Konan and is in love with Miaka. He is the second Warrior. He heard about the Priestess when he was young and ever since then he knew with was her he wanted. At the beginning he asks Miaka to marry him when Suzaku is summoned. But Miaka is a love with Tamahome, and even though it was hard, he was fianlly able to let her go for her happiness. At the end he marries a beautiful women that looks like Nuriko. And it is revealed at the end that they have a son. .
